Stillness

When you’re not moving, it’s good to take some time to stop. And listen to the world around you. The following is a collection of my static forays into digital graphic design, sculpture, and photography (among others less easily defined).

SBCC Songwriting Showcase (Poster)
When life gives you cardboard, you make miniature instruments. And posters.

Classic Book Covers
Redesign the covers of three classic books as one series. Created original font made out of triangles (Triangle Fever!). The rest of the art was also made out of triangles. As you might be able to deduce.

Naem (Mean)
A booklet about time, truth, existence, choice, space, and perception. Text sourced from my journals. Bound with (vintage) blood red thread.

Logo Design
From top left: 5infinity, Average Goods, Christian Hirsch (Personal Logo), Dawn Patrol (Instagram TV Miniseries), Foxfire (Restaurant/Bar), Essence (WoW Guild), Pixel Vision (AR/VR), Zyris (Dental Product Manufacturer).

Hirschy’s Bar
20″ x 20″. Lots of cardboard, glue, sharpie, and a late night one October 30th.

Veritas
45″ x 30″. My right hand hurt after pressing the same stamp one thousand (or two) times.

Keyboard Rework
I took it upon myself to redesign the modern keyboard. My system relies on a brilliant grouping of keys that optimizes performance based on finger strength, letter distribution, and common letter pairs. Nevermind the watermarks.

Photography
Did I take a toilet on a photo shoot? You bet I did.

Avant-Garde Composition
I went to school for music. I came out producing… graphic interpretive dance?

sevenSevens
A puzzle consisting of 49 distinct years of pennies, each with a single letter written on the back. By following the markings on the pennies, organizing them by year, and unscrambling each grouping, a playful 49 word poem appeared.

Tolmes & Irkosfa
A collage turned booklet about absolutely none other than the nonsense of nonsense.
